2006 and Big Things in Store

I just wanted to say a hearty "Thank You!" for all the folks who have visited the site and particularly for those who have helped with the articles and participated in the Forum.

Over the last 6 months site traffic has increased 330%. That's a growth rate of 55% per month. As more people visit the site, our ability to secure sponsorships increases. This, in turn lets us do more sophisticated testing and provide more info on additional calibers.

If the site continues to grow at this rate, by this time next year we will represent an audience larger than most print magazines for the shooting sports. That will have a huge impact. We will be able to work directly with powder, bullet, and brass manufacturers to develop improved products. We can be involved in the design of new scopes, bullets, and rifles BEFORE they reach the market.

Pretty heady stuff, but it all comes down to our original mission--provide candid, truthful info about precision shooting, provided by REAL shooters who know their stuff.

If you like what we've done so far, there are three things you can do to help the site grow.

1. Tell your friends about AccurateShooter.com | 6mmBR.com. Help spread the word.

2. When dealing with the big name manufacturers and Vendors, such as MidwayUSA and Grafs), let them know that this site reflects your shooting interests and that they should lend their support.

3. Submit items for the AccurateShooter.com Blog and participate actively in the Forum. The strength of this site has always been that we are a community of real shooters who have a passion for precision and accuracy.

Here's a graph of traffic over the last year. As you can see, the growth in traffic is remarkable. With your help we will continue to broaden our audience and that will benefit everyone.

Thank you mate for all your work in making it possible for blokes like me to drivel on about things my family has NFI about and intrest in.

At least now they see me in the house instead of me living in the reloading shed.

thanks again

The only problem I can find with 6mmBR.com is the fact that after only a few visits it cost me $$$ to get my fix! ;) Sure beats hanging out in the bars!
This place has ALL the info I could ask for. Different ideas and opinions is what makes this place, "The place to be"!,sometimes 3 and 4 times a day) Always looking for "just a little more" info. Trying to read between the lines keeps the wheels turning.
Couldn't ask for a better place. Keep it up, and thanks for being here! Mike.

What is the difference in a page view and a visit?
Chuck

Whenever some-one logs into the site, that counts as a visit. One person may have multiple visits in a day.

During each visit, that user may access multiple pages, about 4 per visit on average).

Pageviews are actually underreported on this graph because logging into the forum is only counted once.

RE Snap-cap. I'll ask the A-zoom people, but one thing you can do is just plug a primer pocket with a hard pencil eraser, the white kind that erases ink). You can also fill a primer pocket with silicon but it tends to be too soft.

One of the things that I have taken to doing is putting 6mmbr in the comments section when I buy stuff. I just ordered some Varget from Powder Valley and I thanked them for supporting the site.
