Finally some other form of shooting that has simple rules and is fun for every day shooters.
I started the Dirty Bird shoot 3 months ago. Simple rules We shoot Casey Birchwood 6'' Dirty Bird targets at 300YDS Starting new AR Guns at the same targets at 150 YDS.
Your forward thinking is a great way of having new shooters join the sport.
Our fun shoot we use paint ball at 300yds. we had a shooter hit 5 out 5 shots.

Looks like a great match. I hope I can make it some time. Reminds me of an alka-seltzer match I participated in a time or two, with aspirin as the tie breaker.

This is a very efficiently run match. The chips are pre-taped to paper, making for very fast changes between relays. Early to get back home keeps peace with the war department.
It's just the right amount of difficulty, IMO. You can drop a few and still not be out of it. Nobody's cleaned it yet in the 3 previous matches.
