20 vartarg loading?

I have a 20 vartarg im gonna load for...

32gr vmax
Reloader 7
Lapua brass

I cant find any data I had on it... whats a starting charge? About 18 gr?

In mine, n-120 and LT-30 shot amazing
I've read n120 and n130 are good. As well as AA2200.

I have reloader 7 on hand... always had good luck with most reloader powders.. gonna see how it likes #7. Then go from there. I've never used VV powders... their data isnt in grains and never cared to convert #s yet... but I may..

VV has both weights grains and grams

I would start in the 17.5gr range and work up. Starting at 18 could get a little spicy depending on lot number. You're going to have a full case in the mid to upper 18 grain range. RL7 shoots great in 2 of my vartargs. Maybe not the best, but a close 2nd. N120 for the win.

What is the outside neck diameter of your chamber? I have Lapua Fireball brass and the necks are too thick with a bullet inserted to chamber. Remington Fireball brass had plenty of clearance.

I have read you need a 234 neck for no turn lapua but also somewhere I read the 200 datum also needed to be a little bigger but I’m no expert.

Neck clearance isn't the only problem clickers will be to if you dont have the reamer that's bigger at the back end.
A .234 neck will get you only .002 - .0025 neck clearance. 235 or .236 is better.
Majority of 20VT reamers were designed around the 221 Rem brass with a .232 neck

Im not sure... I don't have the specs. It was a reamer made for lapua brass. Chambered by speedy. I had speedy reamer my Wilson inline die too.
