20 VarTarg Load Development 35gr Bergers

The 20 VarTarg is simply an amazing caliber. This is load development for a Cooper in a Phoenix stock. The gun shoots other bullets extremely well, but the Bergers look like they will be the most accurate.

Base on how this VarTarg shoots I'm going to build a hunter BR rifle in this caliber.

Why did you only shoot one bullet at the two targets on the top row??? :-X

Haha, looks like you have nice shooting rifle!

It is an awesome cartridge and the Coopers shoot. My friend had one that shot the old 36 Bergers like a bench rifle, hell on varmints also.

I have turned the necks down to .0125 and my loaded rounds measure .229, maybe a little more at the pressure ring.

I use a .226 bushing, so figuring spring back, I would say right at .002 tension.

I have a .232 chamber, so running a little less clearance than I normally would on a varmint gun.
