20 VarTarg die preferences

Looking at forming Nosler 221 fireball to 20 VarTarg. What dies may be recommended? Ordered a Pacnor CZ527 drop in barrel pre-chambered for 20 VarTarg. Not sure what neck diameter there reamer will produce. I have reached out for info on neck diameter & free-bore.

Thinking on Redding type S 20 VarTarg bushing die. Not sure about where to start in terms of what size bushings to start with.

Go with the bushing die, my bet is the pacnor reamer has a .232 or .233 neck.
Get you a .226 and a .227 you should be covered on the sizing after there necked down by something in the middle between 22 and 20 cal if you wanna neck down in 2 steps.
The Horny dies work the crap out of the necks.

Some say you need to have a FL non bushing to neck the brass down because it doesn't size the neck all the way down but I've literally done it on a couple thousand 221 fireball to 20VT and 223 to 20 P with no issues.

Ok seems like I am on the right track. What about bushings? Availability is touch & go. Sounds like the bushings - Redding steel or titanium, & Wilson steel may all be up to the task. Care to weigh in here?

Thank you!

I like the Redding with the "titanium" treated bushings. Given the titanium bushings are running around $30.00 and the steel half that, might want to make your first bushing a steel one in case you don't get it right with your particular brass. After I go through a bushing or two (or three!?) to get just what I want - then I get the chosen one in titanium.
