20 Tac Neck sizing bushing size?

Just made up a 20 Tac barrel for my AR and found a deal on a Redding die set. In lou of me being impatient and not wanting to wait for bushings, I made one up last night. Turned out very nice. Ended up being 0.232" after sizing the brass. I was shooting to size to 0.231" to neck down 223 brass.

Anyways. I was wondering what the nominal size most guys use for necking down 20 cal brass from 223 Fed, and LC brass. I'm new to 20 cal, so I'm going to make another bushing tonight. Forgot to measure wall thickness last night, but I'm just looking for what works for others. I'll crank out another bushing tonight, but I'm thinking it's going to need to be in the 0.226-0.228" range.

Any help would be appreciated.

but I'm just looking for what works for others
Mine is for 20P. For LC, I normally go for .224" neck OD to give me 0.002" neck tension. On the FC brass I am using, I go for around .226" to give the same 0.002" neck tension. Those are neck OD's not bushing sizes.

Depends on brass brand but I've used everything from .225" for thin (LC, older Win) to .228"-.229" bushings for thick neck stuff. For Fed recent commercial brass probably .226"-.227".

Got another made up that sizes my necks to 0.227". Will give me 1 thou tension which will probably be light for my AR, but will get me going to test my barrel for functionality. I'll see how they seat tomorrow and go from there. Thanks for the suggestions. Went much quicker once I knew proper dimensions. Worked out very good and I'm getting Zero movement on a 1 thou indicator on the v block and surface plate.
