20 practical case length

Does anybody know what the overall case length should be for if 20 practical?

Should be the same as .223 ...Minimum ...1.750 ......You should check your chamber for max length to be exact.

+1 to what Pacificman posted. Here a copy of a reamer print. It should help.

I use .223 length, 1.760, for maximum case length.

I have a Wilson trimmer that I leave set up just for 223 based cartridges, not having a pilot I can trim 20 Practical, 223 and 6x45mm with no adjustments.

One thing to do, no matter what round you're messing with, is to measure your chamber, write that figure down and refer to it often when reloading.
You'll find that the "measured chamber length" will be about .020 longer than the max trim to length. Save your self some trimming.

And also, just maybe, avoid some residue build up.
