20 NOSLER ?

Well I see redding has 20 nosler dies, so when is nosler going to come out with it ? and my most important part of the question could they be coming out with a heavier 20 cal. ballistic tip ?

Redding has a ton of dies that are not standard. Im sure they have a 25 nosler as well but nosler isnt even dreaming of that one im sure.

If/whenever it’s released, the 20 Nosler case body will be .087” longer than that of 22 Nosler.

I hope you are right jotrod. A good 48-50 grain bullet is badly needed for the 20cal world. Standard reamer with off the shelf dies and brass would be a dream come true.

I remember when 221 brass by Lapua was a dream some of us had.
Glad to say it came true,hoping a poly tipped 20 between 48-52 grains sees the light of day before Im too old for it

Matt have you used the 55gr Berger in your 20 Dasher? I'm extremely please with it in my 20br XP, I would think it would be even better with more powder behind it

It does well,just thinking a poly tip bullet will work better at extended range on pds.Ole Vol Doc has killed a 1000 yard+pd with a 20BR/55Berger,but said if it wasnt a lucky head shot,it would have been a crawl off.

I used it last year day one at Wy-shot and also killed a PD at 780 with it. However Aaron just made a 6 Dasher barrel for it for hunter class at MOA. Don't think I want to mess around switching barrels between matches

Adam,how did the 55 work and what velocity do you get with the XP?

3225fps with the XP and 18" barrel. The bullet performed well, much better than a 105 berger has at that distance.

Heavy Poly Tip bullets in 20 caliber is not a dream!

Black Hole Bullets sold me a few hundred 55 gr poly tip bullets in 20 caliber about three years ago.

They shot very well at least as mwell as the Bergers.
