20 gauge 1100 shotgun

I have in my possession a Remington 1100 20 gauge shotgun with vent rib that was involved in an vehicle accident and now has a
bent rib and a small ding on the barrel. I'm trying to find a replacement but they seem to be a bit scarce and the one I have located is a LT20 barrel. The one currently is not marked as such just 20 gauge, Will the LT fit? Pretty limited on my knowledge
of shotguns.
Thanks

No if its not marked as LW on the receiver the lt20 barrel won't work. Good luck I've been looking for a standard frame 20g barrel with vent rib for years.

Yes, make sure you get a barrel for the correct receiver as there are two models of the 20 gauge Remington 1100.

JTEX, I fear you maybe right. Any of those barrels are getting scarce and they are asking a lot of money for any of them. We may need to try and salvage this barrel:(
