20 ga from hell

Hey guys I got a reamer for a brass 3.5 inch 20ga shell some brass and a 62 caliber bullet mold. There's gotta be someone else that's done this. I'm looking for some load data thanks.

There was a guy on BR Central that was doing a 12 ga. from hell, interesting thread. I'm not sure if it's still in the archives or not. BR central has been hit or miss lately on the website.

So what weight slug does it throw ?
Until we know that, please state roughly where you live so I can keep far away.

Is the reamer from that guy that has been doing the Hubble and all the variations? He should be the guy with all the info on high performance shotguns.

NorthEast Wyoming and I haven't cast any yet haven't had the chance to play with it much. I got the reamer from a friend that lost the load data. He built one for a encore and scrapped mission after a couple shots

Well it's not rocket science, throw a slug, weigh it and convert to ounces or grams and use shotshell starting loads and work from there.

Join thefirearmsforum.com and search 12 gauge from hell. There is a guy there that has done it. He actually got custom bullets from Lehigh for his.

He's "That_Guy" on thefirearmsforum
If it's the same person, another thread about it on cast boolits:

From what I understand on it you don't use shotgun powder or load data so that's not going to work. I will jump over and check the other forms out see if anyone's messed with a 20 ga one. Thanks guys

THE FOLLOWING IS AT YOUR RISK. I have a 20ga NEF ultra slug hunter. Brass from Rocky Mountain brass 3 inch, large rifle primer. Bullet mold designed Mountain molds on line program is 580gr. Contacted Ed Hubbell years ago the info he gave me this info 580gr lead bullet 90gr RL17. This sounds backwards but his instructions 90gr and drop till no unburnt powder in barrel. In my case 89.6gr.
I size brass with ch4 single press with lee 20ga sizer ring. Pushed up through die opening then flipped an pushed off. Decap and primed large rifle. Add in my case 89.6 yr RL17. Shot cards to take up all that air space. (Otherwise boom!) Seat my powder coated 580gr cast lead water dropped bullet. This load clover leafs from a rest at 50yrds. The recoil is more of a push than sharp thrust. DRT on white tails and pigs.

Rocky mountain brass will turn whatever length you want and what primer. When I had my 3 inch brass done it was $10 each. Mountain molds cut my bullet mold for $129. This was several years ago.
