20 Ferguson ace

Does anyone on here shoot this cartridge. I have a custom rifle built specifically for this round. It is similar to the 20BR however with a more of an ackley should and a more blown out case. It allows you to shoot 50gr Bergers in excess of 4000fps. I am just wondering if anyone has any experience with it, thanks Josh.

You might take a look at the 20 Nitro, very similar to what you are describing. There is information posted about it at www.smallcaliberclub.com

DLH, Todd Kindler's featured article in the Fall 2002 issue(Vol.5 No.3) of Small Caliber News was an article on the 22(not 20) Ferguson Ace. Case capacity is approximately 10% greater than the parent 6BR case. The article includes a reamer print. You may want to contact Todd Kindler. I do not have an email address, but the phone number for his Woodchuckden business is (330)897-0614. Gaylon Ferguson was a member of the Small Caliber News Technical Team at the time of the article. PM me your email address if a copy of the 22 Ferguson Ace article would be of interest and I can scan and email you a copy.
