20 cal bushing sizes

Looking for some input on the most common bushing sizes used by .204 caliber shooters reloading with bushing dies. Please also include loaded neck diameter as well as .204" cartridge and headstamp.

I use .226" for my .20 Practical (AR15) on LC brass.

I think you are in the right place with your 20 Prac sizing & would use the same relative strategy on anything similar. I am using IMI brass with my 20-223AI & .226/.227 bushings seem to give best groups shooting 39 SBK.

I use .226 thru .232 depending on which of my 20 caliber cartridges I am working with. For the 204 ruger or the 20 practical you will be fine with .226-.228 bushings for all the brass currently available on the market.

A lot depends on the parent brass the dase is made from. I use a .234" bushing and get adequate tension because the .20 cal starts out as a 6.5 mm cartridge.

I use Winchester .223/5.56 brass and use .233 and then .226 bushings for the brass in my .20 practical. Using H4198 for all bullet weights for the .204. The accuracy in the .20's is fascinating.
