20 Blackout?

I'm not saying anything wrong with it, ive made probably 1,000 20VT and 20SCC cases, 1000 17 badger cases from 30 carbine.
20 prac is just a simple neck down.
I just got done making 200- 17 MachIV cases for a relative too.
LSherm, just made up a pile of 20VT myself for me this past fall. Sick and tired of chasing 221 brass myself. Had to neck turn all of it.
There are those that would tell us we should seek some kind of professional counseling, lol ;-).

The 300 BLK was originally made from .223 / 5.56 cases, and getting used 5.56 cases can be had a LOT easier and cheaper than 221 Fireball. But I have a 20 Practical and 20 Vartarg too, and the 20P is just easy, accurate, fast, and uses all AR-15 parts and mags, or easy to convert a .223 bolt gun. The 20 VT is definitely a lot more work to form, but uses 1/3 less powder, is accurate, fast, and has no real recoil.
Plus, even though it's not a SAAMI cartridge yet, you can get dies from Redding, Hornady and others, plus you don't have to have a custom reamer designed, etc.
I made about 700 of 20 VT cases within the last 3 weeks, and my hands hurt! I used to be young and immortal, don't know what happened... Counseling probably a good idea.

“I was country when country wasn’t cool.”
I was making 300 Whisper in the mid 80’s when very few folks had a clue what it was. Shooting IHMSA, the 30x221 was one of the most frustrating cartridges I ever worked with, sub sonic 180-220’s@200 meters. You were shooting as much at the top edge of the dang steel plate as anything.
I soon went to a 135-150 and kept them super sonic.
I was chasing a small 30 caliber soft shooting round. The 30-20/32-20 won out. I could use it in multiple classes with equal effects as the 30x221. Some would question the pressures used for the 32-20 brass, no different than what is done with 45 Colt and 45-70.
The 32-20 in a modern well built gun will surpass any of the new 32 caliber offerings, I have tried them all.

Oh how I do wish I had bought more than one of the 500 count bags of RP head stamp 221 brass back then. Lol, I thought .30 per case was outlandish, lol.
