For volume, you are saving 2 grains of powder per shot and "should add some barrel life as well.

Curious what brass y'all have found to hold up best. My original brass was custom made for Graf's (5.7 Johnson headstamp) and has been great but that lot is long gone. They have another lot now I think but don't know anything about it. I have used Hornady, Winchester and Starline in addition to the Graf brass and they are all OK. Had to turn the Starline necks and have had a few of those cases lose the primer pocket with loads that do fine in the other brands. My rifles are 22 Spitfire formed with Redding FL die and my goal is around 3350 with 40 V-Max. These little rifles shoot really well. Two are CZ527 done by Calhoon, one is a Howa Mini as described above and one is a Nesika custom.

Joe ive made some 17 badger brass from LC 30 carbine im hoping it's as tough as there 223 brass, won't be able to see untill spring though.
Ive been using Rem 30 carbine all theses years and it will tear up the PP if I run it hard. Really wants to shoot at 3800 but kills the primer pockets so ive backed it down and it still shoots good.
