20.5 in 1 in 9 barrel made for a cz 457

I would like to ask for suggestions for a project - i have a cz mtr stock purchased here and i just bought a cz 457 action for it. The action has a 22rf barrel but I would like to add a barrel but i want a Mach 2 /hm2 barrel. These barrels just don’t exist for sale. I can buy a barrel in 17 hmr for it and that would be ok but would really like a mach2 . My question is would a smith be able to take a blank and cut a blank just like a 455 factory barrel and chamber for mach2 ? Anyone heard of a smith that can chamber a mach2 chamber ? I know it’s a not so popular caliber. I know Lilja offers them but pretty expensive and with rimfire ammo and wind i think it would be silly to sink that much into a rimfire rifle and it not shoot like a ppc. 500 spent for stock and action so far ! Really looking for suggestions that won’t break the bank and still get me a mach2 varmint barrel for 457. Appreciate any suggestions

I just did one in .17 m2 on a norinco which is a copy of a cz 452. Any gunsmith should be able to fit one up.

Can you live with 18” barrel if it’s a 9 twist?

I can live with an 18” barrel !! Anyone have experience with acculite barrels ?

CZ USA Model 452-2E American Bolt Action Rifle 17 HM2 Walnut​

Anschutz made them too but are a harder to find. I have one of both and toyed with the idea of a custom but it would have been a lot of money for little gain in accuracy shooting rimfire ammo.

Hog i have that exact rifle ! I'm looking for a barrel only that will fit 455/457. I have a ton of ammo for hm2 and only one rifle in the hm2. When i bought the 452 it shot great for a rimfire and i have a mtr that i want to put a hm2 barrel on. I wish Cz offered a barrel in hm2. I could spend 400 on Lilja and wait months but don't really want to. Just checking out other options
