SELLING 2 Remington 700 Varmint Specials 308 and 22-250

Clearing out a few guns for my father. Both are in nice shape. Both have had fewer than 500 rounds through them and were used as informal target/wood chuck shooting.

1. Remington 700 308 Varmint special heavy barrel. Brown Precision Stock leupold vari-xIII 6.5x20 with AO fine duplex reticle and stoney point elevation turret/cover. Everything else is factory $1700 shipped

2. Remington 700 Varmint Special heavy barrel 22-250. BDL stock. USA made Burris full field 4x12 with AO target dot reticle. $1400 shipped

I would be happy to put the 22-250 in the brown stock or swap scopes at buyers request. Prices would be adjusted.

Is it not a 1 piece leupold base ?

With one screw in the rear of the base, it appears to be a Leupold one-piece base that was for a XP-100 or mod7 action. (?) Works equally well in this application.

I belive it's just a leupold 1 piece. Basically the same as a reverse front and rear but 1 piece instead of 2. They don't seem to make scopes with that much real estate on the main tube these days

Probably a one piece extended base. I've just never seen one before. The older scopes seem to have longer tubes than they do now, I have a few older Leupold's with the longer tubes and they work just fine.
