SELLING 2 old-school Remingtons, Model 8 and Model 81 30 Rem and 35 Rem.

These rifles are in good shape for their age and the fact they were used many years ago. Neither have been fired in probably 20 years. The actions run smoothly though and they shot perfectly fine the last time they were fired. The 30 Remington has 21 rounds of ammo with it, the 35 has 39 rounds. These things have been bringing a goodly sum on gunbroker, so I'm not going to sell cheap. I'd like to get $1300 each or $2500 for the pair, shipped to an ffl. I'm sure there are a few guys here that know about these and appreciate them. First four pictures are the 35 Rem model 81, last four are the 30 Rem model 8.

Those things will shoot very fast. I had the 81 and the Model 141 pump, both in 30 Remington. Great old guns.

With all due respect, there is lots of love for these old Remingtons. Your asking price seems a little too optimistic IMHO.

Optimistic, yes. I've seen them go for 1100, in way worse shape, but I've seen them go for cheaper too. So, maybe $1900 for the pair.

Those things will shoot very fast. I had the 81 and the Model 141 pump, both in 30 Remington. Great old guns.

The model 14s didn’t have disconnectors, you could hold the trigger and just keep pumping. I’m not sure on the 141s though. I picked up a carbine model 14 in 35 and sold it to a good friend who re did it.

No, but close. I believe they were taken with the Browning BAR.

Actually Clyde was the user of the BAR, the retired Texas Ranger that killed him used a Remington automatic in I believe .30 Rem.
