The DPRC will be hosting a 2 Gun Match on Saturday, October 18th.
Shooters are to show up at 8 am for a safety and course of fire meeting.
Course of fire as follows:
Handgun Event:
5 shots with a hand gun at 25 yards. Open to any handgun and optics. Shooters will have 1 minute for all 5 shots. Handguns will be shot offhand without utilization of a rest.
5 shots 50 yards rules same as above.
There will not be any practice or sight in time.
Rifle Event:
Open to any rifle and optics. Railguns are prohibited. This event will be shot off of a bi-pod or rest from the bench.
Targets are 4 IBS targets and 1 egg at 100 and 4 IBS targets and 1 egg at 300 yards. For all ten shots you will have 10 minutes. There will not be any practice or sight in time.
Handgun and Rifle Events score are equal in value. There will be cash payouts based upon handgun, rifle and overall score. There will be a total of 16 cash payouts and lunch will be served.
Cost is $20. This event is open to all members and guest.
Reservation and payment must be made to Scott Elliott by October 14, 2008.
Due to planning for lunch there will not be any payments accepted after 10/14/08.
