2 bolt / barrel setup

I am wanting to make my long action rem 700 a two caliber setup. It has a mag bolt now and I will need a std. Bolt face for the other caliber, what is the best option? My action has all the accuracy work done to it or I would just find a pawn shop donor. Thanks

Seeing that 700 bolts leave a lot to be desired with primary extraction, you would be better served with a new PT&G bolt about .002 under the bolt bore raceway, or finish up the accuracy work and bore the bolt raceway out to .705 and use a .702.5 bolt body.

I would find another action. I have a switch barrel setup and the re zeroing gets to be a pain.

I'll give pt&g a call . I have a couple of other two barrel setups and love them, I don't mind moving a few clicks to rezero. Thanks for all replies
