I am transitioning to flat tops and more fashionable handguards. These are now surplus to me.
I believe them to be Armalite originally, but I don't remember for sure.
One of them I ground a flat on the top to make the wrong gas tube work. There is a lot of steel left there.
The lock rings are ugly because it required a pipe wrench to disassemble. One is much worse than the other. The picture shows the worst one.
The end piece on one has came off and is attached with a bread bag wire. It could be tacked on .
If you are putting together service rifles, these are for you.
They are almost 30 years old, well used, and not pretty. The ugliness will be under the handguards and nobody but you will know about it. They are quite functional, and priced to not gather dust at my house.
