2 700 needs bolt Handles installed

Dan 40 x is the man that has good reputations, but they are several more ! I want to sent actions and bolts with handles they have been trued and I want them right don’t want to do all the measuring ! I guess Dan 40 x or who ever will except both the body bolt & handle they are Kiff straight handles from midway and that might be were all goes south ! Any input appreciated need to get these done and sold !

I’ve sent actions with new bolts and handles to Dan before. he’s said that way even a blind guy can get it right. I’ve started to do them myself and just silver brazing them.

Does dan want or need the action body?

I don't thinks so but he does send a detailed set of instructions and asks for several measurements, which I find difficult to understand, which is why I have not sent him my bolts. I don't know why Remington designed the bolt and knob so close to the stock. the knob is a bit small and I hit my knuckles when operating them.

Since you have two piece bolts, you can blue up the bolt bodies and scribe them. I believe he only wants the receivers if they're one piece bolts and you cannot provide the needed measurements.

I put Dykem on the bolt, scribe the back of the receiver/cocking ramp with the bolt body pulled back tight against the abutments. Just email or call him...

Be sure to bag/tag if you send multiple bolts so you know which receiver they belong to.
