I am selling an early Marlin Model 39A. It is in Excellent condition. It has a G serial number which places the date of manufacture in 1950. These early 39A's shoot much better than the later model 39's. I have a Williams sight installed on the rifle. The sight was installed in the original screw holes so if someone wanted to remove the sight and take the gun back to original it would be very easy. This gun is very accurate. I shot this rifle in lever action silhouette matches and it performed flawlessly. I am needing to narrow down the discipline's that I shoot because of lack of time so that is the only reason this rifle is for sale. I am asking $800 OBO.
