Im selling my 1917 Winchester Enfield with the experimental sight. I bought this from Gunbroker years ago and do not know anything more that what I have read on the Internet and forum posts. It has been in my safe ever since.
$1675 shipped and insured to your FFL, USPS Money Order. Posted on other forums.
Picture album [click here].
There is an example of this experimental M1917 rear sight as pictured on page 84 “U.S. Infantry Weapons of the First World War” by Bruce Canfield.
First "I will take it" gets it.
If specific pictures are needed, please email me. The rifle has been refinished. The bolt is not polished. My dad always called it bead blasted? He has since passed and this rifle has been in my safe every since.
