Do you know much about Lugers? I found a 4" barrel in a box full of estate stuff. It's marked

with an Eagle on the opposite side. Very clean barrel finish, and rifling is sharp.

Any thoughts on value?

If you change your mind about shipping please let me know. I’ve been looking for a reasonably priced Luger for a while now. Hard to find them in AK and even harder to find them reasonable.

Just a question, in the third photo there is what looks like a crack across the hinge area of the bolt, the area just ahead of where the pivoting pin bulge is.
I would think perhaps that it is a shadow line of the machining from the hinge area to the flat of the top of the bolt though in the picture it looks like it is a crack going over and down the right side of the bolt hinge in the picture.
I have never seen a failure like that on any of about 7-8 Lugers that I have had the pleasure of looking at and handling so I'm guessing that it is a lighting effect...?

Checked it out, it’s actually just a surface scratch.
