Does anyone have familiarity with the Charles Clawson 1911 book Collector's guide to Colt .45 service pistols? I have been told by a serious collector it is the bible to have, however, I am not sure if it is worth the $500 or so it appears they are listed for on EBAY. Is there another manual that contains much of the same information for substantially less? I have some high dollar literature so I am not completely against it, but I want to know if it is that much better than the others to justify the cost?
