Had mucho trouble getting 215's to shoot accurately in my new barrel throated for them. So I tried some 185's seated VERY long. Had to up th powder quite a bit . First load was shooting very good out to 300 yards and was holding half moa vertical. ES was in the 20's and I wanted to see if I could tighten that up. I felt seating depth was good and zero pressure signs so I tried more powder. Same vertical poi!
Sorry for the sideways pic. 5 shot groups at 100. Cant wait till ORSA this weekend. Finally feel confident in my gun....but wind...thats a different story.
The bottom group with the high flyer would have been low teens for ES but the high shot was about 12 fps faster...
Oh yea, I forgot my cheekpiece on the cleaning bench. No facial pressure on stock might be it for me!
