17 WSM coyote

This little one did not even see me. I was hiding on a two track in an F350 with the engine running. Dropped at the first shot that hit the spine. I put a second one in to finish the job. 115 yards, just wondering why it did not hear me?

Same, several years ago. Sitting on two track road, early morning, engine running, some brush, grown coyote trotting up the road straight to me. Watched a few seconds, killed him at about 75 yards. Attributed his h.u.a. to being on his way to morning coffee...

They sometimes loose their mind when dinner bell has rang. I have had them run right into dog towns while we are shooting. I was sitting in the back of a red pickup, shooting for a couple hours, when this came in. How it didn’t see my rig is beyond me. She didn’t leave. 17WSM at 247 yds, 15gr lead free bullet (that’s all I could find last spring).
