I recently acquired a 17 caliber barrel that has no markings on it so me and my local gun smith did a cast of the cartridge and it seems to be a 22-250 necked down to a 17.wondering if anyone has ever ran across this load before I've read a few blurbs about its existence in the past but now cant find any info.
