100 yards with 25 Berger target and Varget powder and CCI 450s

200 yards 3 shot group. This rifle has been tested out to 522 yards with my click chart and it is accurate. Longest groundhog kill is 404 yards so far with the 25 Berger.

It's a .17 caliber version of the .20 Tactical - both designed by Todd Kindler. Uses .223 brass. Shoulder is pushed back to increase neck length, shoulder angle increased and body slightly improved.

Looks good! Who smithed it for you? Ever try any of Todd Kindler's 30gr HPBT Golds in that set up? (I know Todd doesn't make them anymore but some fellow in Texas does). WD

I did all the smith work. Been doing all my own work since 2008 when i went to Gunsmith school in Colorado. I have two lathes. The little 1963 Southbend heavy 10 is my pride and joy for threading and chambering barrels. I have not tried Todds 30 grain Golds in this gun. Shoot them in my old 17 TAC from 2012.
