. 17 Remington fireball headspace guage

Hi guys.. So I installed a new barrel on my savage model 12 and I used a cartridge case to set headspace
I full sized the case. The pc of brass was on its 3rd reload, and has been annealed ( not sure if it really matters if I use new brass.. Since all my brass was made from lapua 221 brass and fire formed in my old 17 Remington fireball barrel.
Well I wanted to ask if anyone had a set of 17 Remington fireball go. / no go gauge they could lend me or rent me.. Just so I can check my rifle before I pull the trigger..
I just can't afford to spend 100$ right now, on the gauges and I'm to impatient . I want to shoot now.. Haha

All I ever buy is a GO gauge, then add a piece of masking tape to the end of the gage for a NO GO gage. There are a couple companies that rent gauges. Elk Ridge and 4D. If it were my rifle I would head space it off a resized piece of brass and add a piece off masking tape to end of the case for the NO GO.

You're going to set your full length die off the fired cases from your new barrel.

A gauge is really a non-issue.
