17 Rem Lee dead length seater

I was seating some 20 grain Vmax in the 17 Remington and the die was set 1/4 turn past overcam. The seating adjustment bottomed out and could only get bullet seated to 2.170" oal. Maybe that little 20 grain is too short or the die cut too deep? The Wilson inline or RCBS seater die works fine on them. I hate to shave the die since I have others that work.
Anyone else run into this problem using Lee dead length seater dies?
