17 HMR Break in

Go 5 slow shots,clean,shoot 5,clean.Do this for 40 and your good to go.You can do less probably.I just do this in all my rimfires.
 
I do something similar, clean and lube after every shot for 5 shots,I have tw0 cleaning rods ready to go) then clean and lube after every fifth shot, for 25 shots. that should do it.
