17 caliber non lead bullets

Does anybody have any idea where to get 17 caliber non-lead bullets for use in good old Kalifornia? Thanks. Tom

There aren't any currently being produced by Barnes, Hornady or Nosler. The only .17 lead free I have are loaded in CCI Green .17 HMR rimfire. It's a 16 grain hollow point (never try to pull a rimfire bullet).

You'll have to go to a .204 Ruger or .223 to reload the lead free bullets. I have great results with the .204 26 grain Barnes Varmint Grenade and Reloader 10x, and the .224 36 grain Varmint Grenade with the same powder in the .223 Remington. Heavier lead free bullets such as the 50 grain .224 Varmint Grenade will require a faster twist barrel, at least a 1:9" or faster.
