has anyone tried 168 bergers in a 1 and 10 twist

The Berger site says 10 will work, but does not give you a minimum velocity. I'm using a 9 for the Berger 180s in my 7WSM, but there is potentially a big velocity difference between the 7WSM and a .284. I think 10 may ok if you can get them to at least 2,700 fps. QuickLoad says you can get them to 2,750-2,800 with a 28-30" barrel.

Try looking at the number generated here. this calculator seems to work ok from my experience - even if it is very conservative on what is stabalized at what speed.
