158 gr swc1 lube groove bullets

Finally getting back into reloading after a 12 yr or so hiatus. Bought these bullets from a company in Indiana about that time. Finally opened them and they weight anywhere from 162 to 164 gr. They’re supposed to be 158 gr swc lubed groove. Using the Lyman handbook. How would I handle these for reloading 38 sp.? The book lists 158gr, 160gr and 170gr. Appreciate any help.

3%? I wouldn't worry about it, but if you do, use the 160. There can't be much difference between the two in charge weights. I haven't weighed pistol bullets since USPSA days.......

Use the 158 data. you won't see any difference. If it worries you then use the 170gr data and nothing will happen but slower speeds.
