153 A TIPS IN 6.5 CREEDMOOR

These projectiles shoot unbelievable in my 28 inch bull barrel 8 twist ramage 6.5 Creedmoor build 41 grains of h4350 2750 muzzle velocity 0.005" jump. 1 1/4" @ 433 yards my first attempt 5 mile an hour wind. 9to 3
I might try to get up to 2800 there was absolutely no pressure @ 2750.

Had three left and I shot them at 800 yards didn't know if they would Keyhole and they didn't shot a 3-inch group. Couldn't believe it, I still can't believe it now I need to know if they will make it to a 1000 and further .

They didn't shoot good at 0.030" jump 0.020" jump got better 0.010" even better 0.005" wow.

The 140 grain ELD M like 0.030"@ 2840 and berger 140 hybrids

RL26 will likely give you 2900fps and comparable accuracy. Try 45.0 and work up until you either see pressure or can’t squeeze in any more. 47.0 is a stretch in Starline but Hornady brass usually will swallow 48.

Just what people have been telling me that 8 twist might not stabilizing them. Seems like they don't know what they're talkin about that's for sure!
Bullets slow down in flight much faster than they slow down in spin, which means that they only get more stable during supersonic flight. So if it's stable coming out of the muzzle, it will remain so until the transonic region. Some bullets that are stable in terms of spin may become unstable in subsonic flight, but A) that has nothing to do with barrel twist (mostly) and B) that will be much later than 800 yards for a 6.5 Creedmoor.

I don't know off hand the B.C. of those bullets but I'd guess it's quite a bit higher than the 140 and 142 gr SMKs that I shoot from my 8 twist 6.5 CM, and they do fine out to 1000. What does your ballistics program predict their velocity would be at 1000 yds?

Where can I get some reloder 26 LOL

That would be like a 6.5 x284 sweet

Local source has 153s for the going rate of $70/box. But holy cow I couldn't afford to even work up a load with them, never mind shoot them in competition.
