140 A-MAX in a 6.5-284 ???

cool: George, I know case capacity has it place. An you're right by referring that a full case is the ticket most of the time. Honestly speaking, I would not worry to much about case capacity with the 6.5/.284 cartridge. I have shot the 4350 with somewhat of a not so full case. The groups were well under a 1/4,a penny covered all 5 shots) MOA. I had a bad experience yet with the 6.5 round yet

i'll just shoot what i have on hand right now and thats H4350.
can't ask for it to shot better than it is.....but i'll try other powders later.

4350 and a 6.5x.284 is a very very common and proven combo. It seems to defy load density vs. case volume. Problem is barrel gets toasted rather quickly.

When I have time I'll sort brass out by using a chrono too, just never seem to find the time. 1k br shooters generally but all the brass together nad have an es for 10 shots of like 1 or 2 fps.
