Rimfire F- Class? Do they have any f-class rimfire matches in the valley?

Yes they do. At every match during the year rimfire F class is more than welcome. I am seeing this trend spreading across the country with more and more clubs getting into the act. One club in California has gone to the target company, ALCO, and had them make a target that is reduced exactly as the high power targets were. Keeping the aiming black the same but reducing the rings by half. I'm told that these targets have been submitted to the NRA's smallbore committee for there review sometime later this year. Hopefully the NRA will embrace this discipline and begin to officially recognize smallbore F class in it's own right. Several of the heavy F Class shooters like Jim Murphy have gotten into rimfire F and done very well. Jim won one of the biggest smallbore matches outside the Nationals this past March right here at Ben Avery.
