11mm or 3/8ths Davidson bases

Harrells rings come in 11mm and 3/8ths,,I bought the bases for my Farley action used and dont know which rings to order,,they measure .4771 at the widest part on the top,,I dont have anything to accurately measure the width of the narrow section of the grooves,,
anybody know which size these bases are from the measurement at the top of the base at its widest at .4771??

best I can tell the narrow part is .3183 so neither of those measurements are 3/8ths or 11mm so I am not sure what I need,,

I will call Harrells Monday if nobody knows..

They're very likely 3/8, but dovetails aren't measured the way you have. Here's a calculator and explanation.

thanx Mike I figure they are 3/8ths ,,I will call and ask while ordering Monday instead of just ordering online to make sure,,
