115 dtac info

hello all im new to site and im hopeing that i can get some info on 115grain dtac heads, who is manufacturer and are they availible in Ireland or uk?also do they come mollyed, Im presently trying to get Blaser to produce a Lrs match grade barrel in 243cal with a 1 in 8 twist to shoot 105 lapuas & if i can sorce the dtacs, has anyone any info on 105 lapuas and the dtacs in 243 cal, many thanks paul T, Ireland.

Paul, the 115 DTAC is manufactured in the Sierra plant exclusively for Superior Shooting Systems,David Tubb) and is available through www.davidtubb.com

They are available moly-coated. Perhaps a call to the company could answer more of your questions, especially with respect to exporting.

To German s1 thanks for reply, I wonder would a 1in8 twist from a 24inch barrel be enough to stabelise the 115? paul T, Ireland.

Paul, a 1:8" twist will stabilize the 115 with the velocity you'll be getting from a .243; in fact, a 1:8" even works with a 6BR and the 115.
