11” Rockwell lathe for sale in the Jacksonville Fl area

not mine but I went to look at some other stuff he has. 37” centers , L00 spindle , 3 jaw , steady and follower rests , taper attachment , micrometer carriage stop , live center , and QCTP. Has a fine sheen of rust on some of it but the ways look to be covered in dried oil mostly. Man had a stroke and has to sell everything. Bridgeport J head with a shaper , Logan 10” x 24” lathe , Index horizontal mill , lots of tooling. On Jacksonville Craigslist.

I think the Rockwell makes a great chambering lathe.

If I didn’t have a 13” Colchester Clausing Student 2500 (Harrison M300) lathe already I’d have made a serious offer. I didn’t see any grooves in the bed to indicate serious wear and the rest looked to need a good cleaning. It has a “ bad” low speed gear in it. He made a shop made gear to get him buy. It’s a straight cut on 29* instead of a helical cut gear but he claimed to have only used that gear for a couple of minutes to do a job just before he had his stroke. He was making a proper replacement but he jumped a hole and ruined the correct replacement. Then he had his stroke and it has all just sat for some time. A 11” Rockwell well equipped is worth finding or making a replacement gear imo.

He wants to sell the Bridgeport with all the tooling. More than I could digest on my budget.
You live close to the center of tool auction territory. If I needed a Bridgeport and lived in the Midwest I’d attend some of the auctions I see on bidspotter all the time.

Have that identical lathe. Love it. Don't know the asking price but that's a nice piece of equipment!

Looked it up. Makes me really proud of mine,but would prolly clean up fine
