I don’t think the feds do, by law, but they definitely keep count of how many checks they perform and from where. Is the info on a 4473 kept after the background check?

My Daughter as a FFL holder has to keep and store all 4473 forms just in case she has to provide one to the authorities.I don’t think the feds do, by law, but they definitely keep count of how many checks they perform and from where.
That sounds pretty much like a cross section of society! Most people are worried about the pizz ants in their own little world, while the elephants are just about to run them over! And on top of that, You can't fix stupid, which affects about 80% of the population. We are doomed.Basicly gun owners come in three colors. The fud hunter who only thinks about his fire arm a week before season or the trap shooter type who has a few beers shoots a round with his buddies and dosn't give a rip about any other shooting sport or the smallest group of shooters who are hard core and care. I have ben in compeditive shooting for over 40 years and have heard over and over again you guys are always over reacting that won't ever happen the American people will never stand for it! And then they drink another beer!
As I have told my sheriff and high school friend, knock on my door and see what happens. He has assured me that he will be on our side when the time comes.Keep in mind folks , that only 3% of the Colonists actually were engaged in fighting the Revolutionary War , while the rest sat on the sidelines waiting to see which side would win the conflict ! Our countrymen have developed a NIMBY attitude when it comes to standing up for their Rights , until it directly , and personally affects them .
Just keep in mind that only ONE CANDIDATE has stated that she is for Gun Confiscation , and willing to send authorities into your home to "See if you are living "correctly" ! My question to that would have to be , "According to who's standards" ?
when I asked some guys in our club if they are going to vote, I got the answer that is opening day I'll be at deer camp. Well if you don't vote there might not be a deer season next year because you might not have a gun to hunt with.
He's voting for his wallet and for who the Union people are telling him he should vote for.One of my friends growing up is a hunter and fanatical military arms collector. He and wife are lifelong union people and have never missed an election voting. The problem is every election he votes for the very people that want to take his firearms away. I have told him if they want to take military style weapons his will be the first to go. I cant quite wrap my head around this. One, giving up your right to bear arms. Two, giving up what would be a sizable retirement fund if sold. "Not worth going to jail for" he says. That thinking is the problem.
I don't want to offend any union members, or alienate them as a group. I've been a union member (IWA) during a 15 year period of my life. But any union worker, especially a gun owner with conservative values, who would let todays union leadership, coerce them into voting for democrats and democrat policies -- well, I wouldn't have any respect for your sanity. jdHe's voting for his wallet and for who the Union people are telling him he should vote for.

She should be able to destroy them after a certain number of years if the rules are still the same.My Daughter as a FFL holder has to keep and store all 4473 forms just in case she has to provide one to the authorities.
I don't believe it will ever come to this. They can't do it, and they won't have to.As I have told my sheriff and high school friend, knock on my door and see what happens. He has assured me that he will be on our side when the time comes.
