108 eldm is this normal?

I loaded a box of 108 eldm and all the jackets looked fine. Then I opened the next box and several have jackets that dont look perfect. I opened 3 more boxes and they have a few too. Normal one on the left and 2 that look different on the right.

I have seen a vmax like the one in the middle, but those were blems from midway

Is this normal?

Unless there is something amiss with the angle of the photograph, Those don’t even look like they came out of the same bullet die.

Looks like Hornady missed a few that normally make the "blems" boxes.
If you only have a few, use them to foul the barrel at the beginning of a session.

Hornady seems to have more cosmetic blems than most. They normally catch them. Stick the stained one's in your thumbler or vibrating clean for an hour. And as mentioned if worried, then use them for foulers and for initial scope adjustment or a powder ladder.

I'm not concerned about what color they may be. What you see is most likely from the final wash. If nothing is physically wrong, other than the colorization, I'd just shoot them. I seriously doubt you'd notice on target.

Hornady bulk sometimes has a lot of discoloration like that. I bet they will be fine.
