Scott Glover has installed a 1300 yd range with options for at least 1500 yd by moving the benches back. Possibly more by cutting a few trees high on the hill. Scott and I shot the first time there Thursday. Scott shot a Masterpiece Arms Dasher with 107 SMK's. He probably hit at a rate of 2 out of 3 shots in pretty windy conditions. I shot a Bat SB BRX loaded with 115 DTAC's. After I saw a splash I hit 3 or 4 times straight. I had 3 rounds left and told Scott to try the Bat. First shot hit. I told him to take another shot. Hit. Shoot that last round Scott. Hit. The Bat rolled off 6 or 7 straight hits with the 115 DTAC rebated boat tail and they were BN coated by Tubb.
The next day Anthony Hale, "Preacher" joined Scott and he had hits with four rifles, 6x47, dasher, and Grendel shooting heavy bullets. That day Scott's Dasher had 6 straight hits and he stopped, I guess he tied my Bat's record of six straight and he did not want to break the record our of respect for me. I was not there or would have urged him on for the record
