105 Hybrid sorted ?

Hello all,
A few weeks ago I sorted 1000 Berger 105 gr Hybrid bullets. A box out of several different sleeves of same lot number. The pic below shows the plies they went into. From the left bottom row, 12 at .367-.368, .371-.372.5, top row from left, .373-.374.5, .375-.376.5, .397-.378.5, and below them is a plié of 3 at .381-.382. These were measured with Davidson comparators on a digital caliper.
Question...Did I put the groups close enough together to shoot as bearing lots? I am going to use the small and long ones for fowlers.... Correct? I measured the pressure ring at the beginning of the boatail junction...all are either .2431or .2432 very consistent.
This is the first time sorting bullets. I NEVER sorted for short range competitions. This is for my new 600-1000 yard Dasher rifle !! Do I need to put them in smaller groups ??
Thanx again,
Rmist

Here is the pic...Hell of time posting a pic !!

I ran into a box of 140gr 6.5mm bullets in a case of the same lot 105 hybrids. its sure tuff to sort them dudes out and I feel I got ripped off cause there was only 80 in the box. hows that for bullets being the same in the same lot? I think lot numbers are for a certain amont of boxes that are filled from a large hopper and doesnt mean they are even remotely close. quality sure sucks.

First i got too much variation when you use the set you are using. I found the bearing surface comparator that Mark King sells to be more accurate,it removes you from the measurement. If you have a Juenke do it first……. jim

I agree with johara1 100%. Way too much variation when using the calipers with the Davidson comparators and more tedious in my mind. I bought a Mark King/Buhay bearing surface comparator 3 years ago and its actually faster and more accurate when sorting. All my measurements on loaded ammo as far as OAL reading's using Sinclair comparators are always within .001 or less after sorting.
