1000 yd varmit benchrest

Can't wait till Sunday ,goin to my second vbr shoot with a new promising load. Hope the wind is manageable and we all get to knock a bunch of those varmints down

Just rub it in....

There is a 500yrd next month near me if they get the range set back up the way they want it.

I am looking forward to it. Just hope I get the 6x47l barrel in time to get it dialed in.

The wind at Ridgway is always tough.... but looking forward to shooting tomorrow
Shelly, go ahead and shoot that barrel out before the world open, so some of us guys have a chance.

Sorry, but I have to brag a little on this one.. My boy was top dog on our bench this match, even beating me by one target, taking top Youth and 2nd AA on reverse animal count with a 29. That's some pretty sweet shooting for anyone at Ridgway. Although we did have some abnormally calm conditions, he sure shined when it counted. I'm pretty sure from the scores I heard read he was also in the top 5 or 6 overall. Not bad for his 3rd match ever!

3 generations of shooters and boy did me and grandpa get ripped on, on the drive home.

I told you at the last match that he was going to give you and his granddad a thumping. Didn't get a chance to congratulate him before you left. I'll make it a point to do so next match. Good seeing you.

Thanks!

Yeah, I'm not sure he realizes how hard it is. I think he must have a good spotter ;) That and I really have that lil 6XC dialed in.

He keeps that stuff up and he'll be gunning for you at the Championship match!

Love seeing the young people shooting!
29 on any day is doing really well!
Hopefully see everyone up there next month.

I learned a long time ago........."can't beat youth". Glad he is doing well and hope he stays interested. I'm sure you and granddad are teaching him well. See you next match.

That kid is only shooting because you and your son spent the money, applied your skills and set him up to do the shoot. Give yourself the credit where it's due.

Maybe in time he will do the work and spend the money to take the credit for his efforts? For now he's your tool and a darn good one at that.

Great shooting young man congratulations from everybody on the bench Crow 4 keep that 6XC dialed in!

Shelly, thank you for all the hard work and effort that you put forth to make our shoot at Ridgway enjoyable!! Don,Dave,Tom,Mel, Crow4 ;D
