David, thank you for the heads up on the times and relays! It is sure nice to see your relay the night before the shoot! It’s not a mad rush just before time to start the match to see what relay you are on! Good job! Good luck to all! It will be good to see some old faces! I told my wife yesterday morning that I had not seen Richard Schatz from ND in years and he was suppose to be there. At the warm up yesterday, as luck would have it, Richard was the pulling in the parking lot at the same time as I was. We both have battled some major health scares, but the good Lord kept us around to enjoy our families
and this great sport we love! Samuel Hall

Christmas morning boys and girls! Mid 80’s with light winds is the forecast for the next 2 days. If that stays true, it should be an extremely competitive weekend full of story telling, fellowship, bbq chicken, small groups and big scores!
Live updates throughout the day!
See everyone there!

8:30 safety meeting, followed by 9 am start time.

Sam,
I asked Richard tonight if he got to talk to you and he said yes, and your son Hunter won two relays. Looks like the acorn fell close to the tree. I too survived a health issue and still shooting.

I also want to Thank IBS Vice President Jim Cline for coming out today as well as helping out and learning about Long Range Benchrest. Thanks again Jim.
Thanks David. You put together and ran a flawless match with many great shooters from across the country. Great job on running the 1,000 yard Nationals!

What a fun and eventful weekend it has been! I was fortunate enough to personally shake hands and speak to men and women from all over the country. And let me tell you, there are some wonderful people in this sport. I’m not sure I remember the last time I was this exhausted, but I’ll take away an experience of a lifetime.

Thank you from the bottom of my heart to all of the sponsors, target crew, shooters, cooks and Mike McNeil for all that everyone helped with. This was truly a complete team effort and I feel it was a great success.

Congratulations to all of the winners as it was a challenging couple of days and each of you deserve everything you earned! Nationals is considered the Holy Grail of Benchrest so hold your head up high for a while on this one.

David and Donna, you two pulled off one hell of an event. The details put into this weekend continue to blow my mind hours after being completed. That you both from the bottom of my heart for the hard work and dedication you have put into this weekend. It is an honor to be able to call you my friends.

Safe travels to all!
Blake

Blake, you summed it up, 100 % .
I agree with you ^ word for word!

You also shot Extremely Well, my Friend, like so many others...
So much planning and devotion went into this, and it really showed.
The Prize table was Very Impressive, full of high end items, and it took a couple of hours to clear it off, while moving at a brisk pace.
It was really enjoyable, hanging out with so many world class People!
I'd like to Thank Everyone involved

1000% agree with all you guys and gals. Match was ran as smooth as glass and flowed like the cool beverages afterwards. There never was a rushed feeling between relays and everyone was very nice and helpful to each other.

even though i didn't shoot well I did find out how that Hawk can Bite you.

can't wait to go back up and shoot another match hope everyone had safe travels home and is already getting ready for the next match.
