I’m selling my 1000 yard heavy gun. It is chambered in 300 Sherman Max, which is basically a 30 SAUM Improved that’s already been fire formed. There is a picture showing the Max case on the left next to the 300WSM on the right. Just a little shorter.
Below is a cost sheet listing the components. The rifle weighs 27 lbs 8.5 oz as shown. The round count is 587, the barrel looks great. There are slight signs of wear in the first few inches. I haven’t shot it hot and only bring it out if conditions are bad at a 1000 yard Nationals. Our club doesn’t shoot heavy gun. I’m selling the whole package, reamer, go gauge and custom dies from Hornady and Wilson. Also comes with 192 pieces of brass some of which were loaded for the last match. I built the stock, I cast a lead ingot in the butt and when I shaped it a small line of epoxy is visible towards the bottom of the left side just above the bag ears. It’s shown in the pictures. A face to face sale would be easiest, but I will ship it in components for the added cost of packaging, shipping and insurance. It would be brass only if shipped, no loaded rounds. As you can see the cost if new would be just over $7,000 for the entire package. I will sell it all for $4,500 plus packaging, shipping and insurance. Let me know if you have any questions or would like to look the rifle over. I can send additional pictures via PM as I’m limited to 6 here on the post.
Thanks,
