100/200 BR Competition Locations

I am having a 6PPC built ;D and would like to go and watch some matches to learn from the experts...I live in central Indiana. I would like to know when/where any 100/200 yd matches are being held. I know the Super Shoot is coming in late May (I think)...anything else? Thanks much!

Go to www.benchrest.com On the home page you will see the IBS logo as well as the NBRSA logo. If you click on these you will get to their websites where the schedules are posted. This will cover all registered matches. By the way some clubs even offer 300 yd. matches.

A match you may be interested in, is one in my area that happens each month. NWOBRS has a un-registered (No card needed) benchrest match the first Sunday of the every month. (April - November) Lots of top notch shooter there. It is located in Delphos Ohio at Black swamp range. Here is the web site.

They have three classes a factory rifle, modified factory, and unlimited. The unlimited class follows NBRSA heavy varmint rules. Cost for match is $15 bucks. gates open at 10am match starts around 12 noon. Each month is different on month will be 100 yards the next will be 200. One month it will be a score match the next is for group. It brings shooters from Muncie, new haven Indy, Michigan to central Ohio.

New this year there is a NBRSA registered match in Sidney Ohio on June 12 & 13 (You need to be a member of the NBRSA to shoot) There is also matches in Michigan.

If you would like to get your feet wet in a local match Albert Clark has a shoot
@ 100 yards every 3rd Saturday in Newport Ind.
Its just for fun but there's some good shooters that show up..
