10 twist 30BR

notice today my sierra book shows loads for the 30br with a 10 twist rather than the normal 17 or 18.

I have a couple 308 barrels here gathering dust, wouldn't mind a little project.
Anybody done this yet, interested in your findings

I'm working on this project right now. I had a Ruger 30-06 barrel with a long shank I'm going to re-thread for a Savage. I think the barrel cost me $30.....I have a reamer on order so hopefully within the next month I'll have it completed. Also bought a couple of spare 7mm br dies for super cheap that i'm going to bore out and use for the 30. Due to the twist i probably won't be able to run the velocity up as high as is regularly reported but if I do my part it should still be plenty accurate. I'll let you know how my project goes.
